It's happened to me also. I bought a 42 carryall from a guy in SD, He had two others, I agreed to help sell his other two and took a different carryall than I first bought. He took me to court even though I had title to it. He now claims I don't own the one I took. To fight it would cost a ton so I have to pay $2100.00 to settle. Buyers beware.
