As soon as companies have a way to make money by being environmentally responsible, we'll have better options, until then no amount of social engineering, tax breaks or other misguided but well intentioned gimics are going to change American lifestyles.
Remember Jimmy Carters' solution? It was wear a sweater....at least he found honorable work with habitat for humanity, and that's where he should stay.....
