Blah, blah, blah, for a guy who pays attention to detail, you're pretty blind sided by this. Do you think that during the Jurrassic age, with thousands of volcanos errupting every day that they had LESS CO2???
Everything you said about being a good steward to the land is valid, attributing to man the ability to change the weather by miniscuel actions is laughable. Mount Saint Helens put more CO2 into the atmosphere than approx. several years of fossil fuel burning. As for the air in LA, it's cleaner now than it was 40 years ago, but atmospheric conditions create LA smog, always have, always will. The Indians called LA the Valley of The Smokes, long before Europeans came here.
The CO2 levels fluctuate with the Sun Cycles, Your logic about trees is flawed, trees create CO2, by your logic we should be cutting like crazy to rid us of our killer trees!
Ice core data? Do you realize that there has been over 20 ice ages since time began, which ice are you talking about? Since 1945, over 250 feet of ice has been added to the ice layer in Greenland, for a more accurate representation Antartica, which is the driest place on earth, gives a better reresentative core sample record. The samples there show a repeat scenario every 40-50 years. As far as the "scientist" you have "talked" to, re-read my comment about grant money, for every scientist that thinks man is the cause there is one who thinks it's bunk.
All of the things you mention to help keep the environment clean are valid, but they have absolutely nothing to do with "global warming".
Care to explain WHY Mars and the rest of the solar system is also warming???DOH!
