Very well said Keith. And I am glad that you included the organizations outside the military i.e., the fire service, police etc. I recall after 9/11 there was alot of talk about how sports stars were not the true heros and that if you valued your way of life and freedom you should thank a service man or firefighter or cop. Unfortunately, after time passes people forget this and we are now back to being looked over by the public. I am a veteran volunteer firefighter and am very proud to serve my community. I just wish that the public would show more appreciation. Now I will get off my soapbox!
