Keep trying to convince my wife of the same thing Ugg but she won't move to anywhere that isn't within a few minutes of a grocery store. It stinks but I did learn a way to stop my nieghbors from calling the cops on me all the time, I just make noise while they can't say anything about it.
Az has this wonderful noise ordinance in Maricopa county and one of the thing it says is that you can't be noisy after 9:00 pm and before 6:00 am so I make all the noise I want to between those hours and they can't do a thing. You ought to look into the noise ordinance that you may have in your area.
I also like to CRANK UP my sound system for my Mexican neighbors when ever they want to grace us with their D.F. music. They have no choice but to turn their music down cause I will keep turning mine up until they shut theirs off. Mine is a small system now only about 2000 watts (I used to be a DJ and played large outdoor parties all the time 4000 watts or larger amps.) I only have to do that whenever someone new moves in. After they have had it explained to them they don't cause anymore trouble. Funny how that works.
