I'm with you Michael. I have not gone the disk route yet, too many other competing priorities. :-)
I was just curious as to what the true cost would be if all components of a drum system needed replacing. My actual cost so far has been less than $300 per axle including new wheel cylinders, shoes, brake lines, and bearing sets.
Still need to rebuild the brake booster which I will need regardless of whether I use disks or drums.
