My disdain is for the corporate high ups that decide policy. There are very few mechanics at dealerships anymore, they are mostly R&R techs (remove, replace). A majority (not all) don't really care one way or the other if the job is done right, corporate policy dictates to get as much money as possible. If the computer doesn't show a problem, then it doesn't exsist, PERIOD, even if it's front of their noses.
Of couse it would be truely assinine to say that ALL the dealerships EVERYWHERE are like that. I have worked for dealerships in the past, known people AT dealerships, and know how a MAJORITY look at us consumers. Again, not all. There are some that I have met that WILL go the extra mile.
I could go into it deeper but since you already assume I don't give people here much credit for intelligence, why bother. Have a good one. BTW, we all know what assume stands for. ;>)
