I had a '99 3500 CTD that the pump went out just out of warranty also and I fought mother mopar tooth and nail to fix it, which they finally did but it was a BIG up hill fight with some not so nice words. Then on the second pump they only gave me a 12 month 12 thousand mile warranty... well guess what happened 13 thousand miles later the pump went out again (think they have them set up to go out after warranty) Well I parked the truck got to know a mechanic at the local Dodge dealer real good. Till one day he called me and told me that had a brand new dodge with a rod knock and had a new motor on the way for it, and he said he would swap my junk pump for the new one and put my junk one back on the motor with the rod knock for $600.00 cash. I told him get it done. After that was done I sold the truck before it happend again. Would not think about buying another 24 valve again. Matt
