After looking at 2 or 300 hundred steering boxes i am pretty sure that Saginaw has very few case sizes. I have found short sector arms and long sector arms but not a nice medium one. I am very sure the short arm box is what the old ugly truckling conversion was using , but I would like to be sure before I go ahead and start modifing things.
What i am looking for is a photo of the fire wall and the top of the steering box . The short sector shaft seems to place the steering shaft towards the frame buy aprox 1 inch. A [picture of a saginaw box in a Carryall or PW would help me with figuring out of I have the correct box or need to look further . Is this the case or have I missed a box that fits better ?
I have considered having a sector shaft shortened and resplined for a perfect fit and having the box cut down and machined for new bearings . Either that or moving the steering column out a inch and change. Before i go that route a picture would be of great help.
thanks guys.

I have been quoted 4 grand and 24 hundred bucks for a NV4500 . One rebuilt ,one not . I sure hope the deal on the NV4500 I found yesterday comes through.
