when i rebuilt mine i made a new piece on the inside out of brass and used brass screws with i think they call it "woodruff head" specialty fastner box at napa i'am just getting back into my ffpw after several years of "life" so my memory is a little foggy but i thought there was an article here about how to fix that with specifics cause the windshield is an issue on alot of these old girls maybe one of the other guys knows the article or issue better ERIC
