Actually we only had the truck behind us when we blew the turbo hose off. It was interesting in that the stainless hose clamp is what failed. They punch 6 holes in it to allow them to staple it to the hose so everthing is in alignment for installation at the factory. It split right through one of these holes and all the other holes had stress fractues starting. Obviously not a good clamp.
If we had the truck and trailer on the back of the truck I sure it would have dampend the movement of the truck as it went through the bump. We did find a good place to store the truck and trailer when we were in Yosemite. The campground had their equipment stored next to the office and we parked very close to it under a large security light right next to the office and caretakers apartment and we were only 75' away our selves.
I do appreciate the offer. We should have taken it as we ended up coming back that way as I did not want to drive with it through the curves and narror roads in Yosemite. I forgot how bad they were and how much climbing it was.
