What year? Don't look a gift horse in the mouth! If I was nearby I'd take it in a heartbeat, no matter what year it was. I can't believe the guy wants to give it away just because it got flooded. Maybe he's in shock, what with all the rest of the mess he has to clean up too. Maybe everybody should let him keep it for a month, wait till he's dealt with what all happened to his house, road, other rigs, or whatever, and then see if he still wants rid of it. He might change his mind. Brief submersion doesn't usually ruin an engine, a complete lube job will take care of the chassis, and even if the upholstery and gages need replacing that's either cheaper than the value of a nice truck or you were going to have to do it anyway if it's an unrestored truck.
