Yes, it's an old mill, but it seems to me it's been pretty well modernized to cut small logs. A guy I used to work with was sent there once, probably 20-30 years ago, to fix some electronic controls on something and was impressed with the plant electrician who would identify whether a line was 120, 240, 440, or 660 volts by putting a finger across it and seeing how the shock felt. Sawmills seem to attract fire like trailer parks attract tornadoes. I vaguely recall hearing the Indians bought the mill a few years ago. Hard to believe they don't have a gravity water system with a big tank on the hill or on a tower. I'm sure they did at one time, but maybe they took it down when it got old and they thought the city water and electricity were reliable enough.
