Your PTO winch is a working winch. It can be worked all day everyday. You can pull, break shear pins and work again. Electric winches are recovery winches. Good for short pulls. Elect is fine, but no equal to your PTO for hard continous work. Keep a quality snatch block and spair chain with you as well. Any winch under load deserves lots of caution and respect.
