production numbers confusion

just had my power wagons towed to my house I have had two since high school one highly modified and one origional. I wanted to find out year model and production numbers for the non modified one. Looked at the page here and it says it is a 1958 W 300 M. So is it a W300 or a WM300? Just wanted to know how rare it is before I start messing with restoring it or taking it out on the trail. Just over 9000 origional miles and really straigt body but no bed.
