Well, here in the middle of this v-8 conversion, it seems like everything I attempt has turned into a brick wall, digging me a little deeper into the proverbial hole. I guess thats the fun of it all. However, after hitting brick walls repeatedly, it stops being fun. Then I find myself forcing myself to work on it, and thats not fun either. Today, I had a half hour of time so I looked at what I might accomplish in that time. I started playing with the clutch master cyl. line to the slave cyl. I checked to see what I had kicking around and found one piece with factory flares about 4 feet long or so. I held it in to see if it might be long enough, it looked like it might work. I decided on how I wanted it to run, got out the tubing bender and made a series of nice clean 90 degree sweeps. slipped it in and its length was perfect, the bends all where they were suposed to be! I screwed it in and left with just enough time to go pick up my daughter, feeling re-energised and ready to slam my head into a few more brick walls! Maybe the brick walls actually do feel good, deep inside!
