On a normal M-37 the battery is under the passenger seat and the fuel tank is under the bed behind the rear end. Your M-37 may have been altered to the point that the tank won't fit there anymore.
This picture reminds me of the ugly truck contest seen on this page in the past. I could top your truck but I don't have the digital camera.
