I just found out on the Eaton Fuller site that their FSO4305A and B 5 spds, made in europe, are now available in the States. They are alloy cases, only 148 lbs (!!!) - my Clark weighs about 220, same length as Clark, about 15" case length, they say 20" to yoke center. It will fit without transfer moving, just driveshaft shortening. Torque rating is 415 ft-lb, ratios
A: 5.76, 2.83, 1.53, 1.00, 0.77
B: 5.08, 2.64, 1.53, 1.00, 0.77.
Obviously we'd all want A. synchro in top 4
The picture in the site shows a pretty normal looking bolt pattern, 4 bolts, round bearing retainer.
Promising.
Someone start bugging an Eaton/Fuller truck drivetrain jobber.
