I recently bought a brand new MU-3 which is a 10,000 lbs winch from Sam Winer in Akron,Ohio. I paid $1050.00 Not cheap but it is new and probably will last a good long time, it is identical to the MU-2 as they have not changed this model in years and I like the all steel housing. To me it's worth the money to not to have to rebuild or look for parts. hope this helps,Steve
