If there's a DRMO near you and it's like ours, they
put all the used tires in a big pile. When the pile
gets too big they grind them up. Until then, any tire
in the pile is $5. 95% of them are no good, but I've
found some useable tires in there at times and the price
is sure right. Most tires are 16.5" hummer tires or
9.00x20 NDT's, though there are lots of other sizes.
They also sometimes put pallet lots of good tires in
the local sales, though Levy-Latham is getting all
the good stuff these days.
