It isn't too bad working on the radiator, as long as you realise that doing anything at all means pulling the whole radiator frome off as a unit.
I used the MIG to weld up the nameplate holes and then drilled and tapped the weld metal, as there is no way you can get to the back of them.
You are much more likely to damage the core trying to refit the fan with the core in place. Fit the fan first and just be carefull when you lift the front on.
VPW should have the badges, etc.
