Everyone always told me that the more air the better.
I came across a Cummins powered Grimmer Schmidt compressor.
190cu. ft/min @100psi. I sandblast everything with
that hooked to my 300lb. lindsey. I use 50 grit which is like
beach sand, @ 80psi. The 50 grit doesn't eat up the metal like
00 and doesn't warp the metal easily.I buy it at the sand blasting packaging plant for
$10 a barrel (800lbs.)or $20/ton bulk. I like to sandblast, Ask Fred Lantz,
I've sandblasted him, and his truck.
I pile a lot of lose parts on a screened table I have. As I sand blast the top parts the over
spray hits those underneath.
