It can get quite expensive to get the right equipment. So unless you want to do a lot the advise below of having someone do it for you is best. I use a commercial set up that is about 70 or 80Hp diesel that puts out 210 cubic ft. a min. of air at about 100 psi. With a 1/4 nozzle it goes through about 200 #s of sand in 10 minutes. After 10 min. with a bag over your head in the heat you you look forward to running out. You could acctually run two of these with this compressor. You can get away with 80 to 100 cfpm. The whole key is air volume not pressure. The best you can get out of a big shop commpressor is 15 to 25 cfpm. A sears 3 hp might do 5 cfpm. have fun.
