fantastic addition to any Dodge that actually gets used. But no less than Tim Peterson, who developed the conversion that Ray Suiter has refined, is convinced that rear disks are un-necessary if the rear drums are in good shape (good linings, proper adjustment, good wheel cylinders and hardware, true drums). The balance is about 70/30 as far as weight when braking (empty) and also as far as braking force. I have 3 vehicles with front disks and all stop well with the stock rear drums.
