.Dave , According to my research a lu-2 is not the correct winch for an M-37, the lu-4 is. As far as price the cheepest lu-4 that I have found to date is at Sam Winers in Akon , thay are between $1,000.00 & $850.00, depending on condition. Thay also have the cheapest nos pto's Ihave come acrossed at $200.00. Thay can make up a pto shaft for around $150.00. Thay heve no bumpers, no frame ext., and no cables on the winches. A lso the pto I have is off of a wrecker, and is dual directional. I do have the whole truck ,the body is shot but there are some good driveline parts that I will sell cheap. As for the winch price it doesn't hurt to fish- you have to start somwhere. Thanks for the time and space. Greg !
