203 205 and 207 do have a cast iron case . Gear drives (205) have a 2inch round plate in the middle of the back with 3 holes in it.. 203 and 207 chains don;t but still are cast. one is part time , the other is full time 4 wheel drive, I believe when they went to 208's is when they went alum...
