What oil (Type and wieght) should I be using in my '54 flat fender (230 cc)?
The local oil guy says to use 10w30. Isnt that too thin?
Also, when replacing the old sock type filter, is it best to pre-sock it prior to placing it into the canister? Or do I just pop the new unit in, add 5 qts of oil and then fire it up?
Seem like very basic questions I realize. But I really dont want to screw up the engine.
