I had a simalar(can't spell) thing happen to me but in reverse. I couldn't get the pig to run thought it was the spark so without really testing anything I redid the enrite electric system from the switch to the EEC to the alterantor to the battery the coil, wires, plugs, distributor,I went the whole gambit. As I was putting the final touches on the system one of my buddies who is a mechanic (ASE and the whole bit) comes over and asks what I was doing to the beast. I told him about my issue and asked If in my quest for power if I had forgot to hookup the fuel pump or had I removed the intake feed on purpose. I looked dwon and sure enough the 6 inch piece of hose from the tank to the fuel pump was not connected. I had removed it while replacing the rest of my fuel lines cause I had a crack in the line from my tank to the steel line line that went to the front and it was the next piece of line inline that I had removed and had forgotten to replace. I wish that I could say this happened a few years ago and I have now gotten smarter but alas it was about two weeks ago when I was working on my ramcharger and so I felt like a total heel.

WE all have those moments.
AS my Grandpa said "There are four cycles to an engine Suck, Squeeze, Bang and Blow. If you get the Suck and Squeeze and then no Bang you won't a Blow either."

Don't know If its approiate to the forum but I just like to repeat it every now and then.
