Alright I am sick of working on this stupid tranny! Does any one have any suggestions as to what would be a good replacement for this stupid 727 in a 79' ramcharger? This is the forth time I have had to yank it out and get a new one and I swore that I was going to get a manuel one if this happened again. I want 5 or 6 speed that bolts up to a 360ci and 203 tranfercase (If I remember right it's a 203) I don't want or really need a new t-case but I think I can go with out. Any one with a suggestion let me know. I have heard that the one from the 96' model year is pretty tuff but don't know the unit number. I can get all that I need from the boneyard but need numbers for the tranny. thanks in advance.
