If you are installing it in a diff where you are keeping the same ring and pinion, measure your back lash before you take it apart, and set it to the same when you re- install.
If you are installing a new ring and pinion, then just use the factory specs on the backlash.
We put the locker in the back of the swivel which is not IMHO the best place for it. If I was going to run only one air locker in the swivel it would be in the front. We put it in the back because after we test it over the next two weeks and in Hollister, it's coming back out so the ARB guys can inspect it. I really did'nt want to pull a front axle apart and re-assemble 3 times over. I'm not going to be getting "my" locker until the production units are in.
