Power Wagon V-8 conversion question

While I am not quite there yet, I have been pondering the radiator and fan issues. There seems to always be a problem with fitting the fan. Has anyone had good luck eliminating the stock fan and using an electric pusher fan (mounted to the front side of the radiator) I know Will did this on his M-37. Anyone else have any input on this?
