The forcast for this past Tuesday was for Thunder Storms. About 1:15pm the worst strorms I have ever seen in the Mts hit. In 30 minutes over 6 inches of rain dropped along with super high winds. The US Weather Servicew now is saying that a few small tornados also hit the Schroon Lake area due to the Swath like destruction, a lot of homes had huge trees drop on them. Tornados are just not something we see here in the Mts. My road was closed for almost 24 hours due to trees down, wires and poles down and wash outs. Still on emergency power, no telephone, so no dialup Internet. Line crews from Newington, Ct have 4 bucket trucks on my road and support trucks. Maybe power by late tonight. I had absolutely no damage of any kind at my home, but a little over 1000 feet away, one of the swaths crossed the road.

Now if I could get APB up here and run some copper I would be all set, back onb the web.
