Runs great, steering and brakes just redone.

Let me first start by saying I hate to sell this truck!

Now for some details: The truck is a 1953 B-3-PW1 but I’m not certain that is my best guest. I am by no means a Power Wagon expert. The engine runs great. Starts right up at -20 below or 100 above. Never over heats, does not smoke or leak oil. The gears are probably 5.83 but I have never confirmed it. There is no rust on this truck but light surface rust. The truck has been sprayed in a light primer of red and black so there is no hiding anything.

The brakes and steering linkage have been completely gone through. New steering CV Boots installed, new brake master cylinder installed, truck stops and steers great. Have receipts to prove the work and all parts were purchased from Vintage Power Wagons.

The lights and gauges are currently not wired but I just bought a new 21 circuit wiring harness for the truck. The truck needs cosmetic restoration. Everything is there that you would need to restore the truck. Glass is in great shape, all windows crank up and down as well as the front regulator. Doors close, the truck has an MU2 8,000 pound winch on the front. I have the PTO shaft but the winch will needs the release brake. The truck has been converted to a 12volt system and has a new Sears Diehard battery. The truck does not have the wood bed installed. The bed sides and tailgate are reproductions and are as straight as an arrow with no dents. I have the original bench seats for both the front and back. Both need to be reupholstered; currently there are two bucket seats in the front. I have both the parts and shop manuals which will come with the truck.

The break down:

Engine - Flathead 6 (runs great, very strong, no smoke, and no leaks, does not overheat starts right up in the dead of winter or in the heat of the summer.

Rims – Split combat rims, light surface rust.

Tires – Hold air but need to be replaced.

Braden MU-2 8,000 pound winch. Needs clutch and cable. I have the PTO shaft but not installed.

Seats – I have both the original Power Wagon bench seats for both the front and back of the cab. Both need to be reupholstered. I currently have two bucket seats installed in the front and the rear bench is currently usable with the upholstery that is on it.

Glass – Excellent condition, some of it is new. Front regulator works great. All windows roll up and down. No cracks or stains.

Doors – Open and Close as expected.

Transmission – Works great
.

Steering – Redone. New linkage and CV Boots installed

Paint – The truck is in a light coat of primary just to keep it from rusting.

Rust – Only light surface rust. Nothing to hide here.

Brakes – Rebuilt, new master cylinder installed. Stops great.

Lights – All there, just not wired up. I have the proper arrow turn signals also in excellent condition, a great addition for any Power Wagon.

Wiring – Basic wiring installed, but I purchased a new 21 Circuit wiring harness that will cover any kind of wiring you want to do.

Bed – Needs wood bed installed.

Truck bed sides and tailgate are all new reproduction parts. No dents or rust, straight as an arrow.

Running boards, some dents but adds character and does not detract from the vehicle.

Storage: Garage Kept.

All I can say is that I hate to sell it. I looked for a long time to find a Flat Fender crew cab and this is it.
