I put this old Kohler genset on the back of the '46 to see how it would look. I dont think I like it. I'd like to find or build a genset trailer using a junk power wagon rear frame and axle.
I need to find out about these older types of powerplants. I know nothing about generators and would appreciate any direction someone could point me to find out how to work on them. This one has the Waukesha 45hp diesel engine. The generator is 3 phase 208 volt, and 53 amp. It is not running so I want to go through it over the summer. Id like to be able to use this as emergency backup power for our home, and maby figure out a way to use it as a mobile welder and power source for 220/110 tools.
