Yes I did and do still. I took a baseline reading of my mpg and hp at 2500 rpm before I did anything and my 318 in the van I drove was getting an average of 13mpg and 265 horses. I put in a K&N filter and saw 2 more mpg and about 26 more hp. Next was the MSD Igniton parts (wires, coil, distributor, cap and rotor) and the Allied Signal Titanium plus plugs (now they call them platinum plus I think) that was a huge difference-I also advanced the timing to 5 degrees ahead. I saw 4 mpg and 30 more hp. I then switched to 91 octane from 87 and went 3 mpg and 20 hp. The last thing I did was the tornado so when it was all said and done I am now averaging 25 mpg and about 350 hp and no major engine work! So yea they make a difference every little thing make a difference. I now put all that stuff on EVERY thing I own. Even the Intrepid got a tornado and a K&N filter I didn't do the ignition stuff but saw a jump to 30 mpg on something that usually gets 22 or 23 according to the sticker (3.6l) My Advice is still the same don't take my word for it try it yourself. Tornados are only about $50 a piece and a K&N is about $55 so if I was wrong your only out $105 But When you find I am right and realize that you made the money back in mpg in less then a month then start telling others like I told you.
