-The 2006 Annual Vintage Dodge Power Wagon Rally-
Something for Everyone

This year will be yet another special 4-day event with some added incentive for those of you considering attending.

On hand will be Gordon Maney from the Power Wagon Advertiser, our favorite niche Power Wagon Magazine. For those of you who know Gordon and for those of you who haven't met the man, stop by his table in the main building at the Fairgrounds to discuss a word or two about Power Wagons. Gordon will be speaking at our Saturday Night Banquet; he's an entertaining speaker and one you won't want to miss.

We always have approximately 100 trucks at each Rally. The Power Wagon Woody is one of the rarer trucks that we see here. This year, We have two Woodys attending, one of which we be arriving from over 2,000 miles away!

At the Saturday Banquet a special presentation on Woody history will be given by George Wellman along with a new presenter, Mr. Tom Phillippbar, all the way from San Clemente, California. These two gentlemen will be giving a special presentation on the history of the Woody and what it takes to build a Woody Power Wagon body. We are all looking forward to it.

This year's activities include a road rally to Bonaparte, Iowa -- located on the Des Moines River -- for dinner at a restored grist mill. Along with this road rally, we've added a 2nd trip to Sigourney, Iowa for a visit to the Dumont Museum, a 24,000 sq. ft. facility which includes a huge, very unique collection of restored vintage tractors, and other interesting antiques.

We have two new sites this year, one for the wiener roast at the Morton family home and a 2nd site at the Leahy Farm for a trail ride. We've worked extra hard in securing and preparing these sites and think you will enjoy them.

Our informative shop sessions this year include demonstrations on installation of a Cummins diesel in a Dodge 6x6, hot riveting frames, rust prevention, installing an M-37 hardtop and what it takes to make new castings-presented by a very knowledgeable man who has been in the pattern making industry for over 50 years.

Vintage Power Wagons' facility is open daily during the Rally. Come browse our warehouses and salvage yard for those needed parts to complete your restoration.

And last but not least, come to meet fellow Power Wagon owners and enthusiasts!

Great People, with Great Trucks -- that's what this Rally is
all about... we hope you'll join us for this event. See you in June!

Sincerely,

The Vintage Power Wagons Crew-

-Rally Trail Ride Videos-
The Majestic Dodge Power Wagon in Action

Our thanks to Jay B. Good for creating these videos, and to George Wellman for the original Rally video footage. These are great videos that really do a nice job of capturing the strength of the Power Wagon, and the skill of the driver in maneuvering over challenging terrain. See the Power Wagon go through heavy mud, water, and up a steep incline!

See the videos...
