I mentioned Ken Sterrett, He is a long time driver and friend, but he was not my instructor!! He was gratious to ride with me to the skills test.. my instructor was Robert Bryant AKA 'Tumbleweed' a 29 year driver with over 3 million miles experience! He is the primary MX driver trainer and tester..( He is the one that gives the boss thumbs up or thumbs down if the prospective driver will be with MX or not!) Any driver, experienced or not has to run with Tumbleweed before they are employed as he does all the new driver evaluations! I was his 19th student of which made the grade. He has had 4 others that never made it past the first few days..I have been solo the last 2 days now but Tumbleweed is keeping a close eye on me!!
