I believe my exhaust manifold is cracked all the way around. Tough to tell until I remove it.
If it comes off in two pieces, I assume it would be difficult to weld since it would have to be lined up. Maybe there is a jig or a template for this. Maybe I can draw a template from my new/old replacement manifold.
The gaskets themselves are more than one piece and won't help in aligning the cracked section.
I assume the mating surfaces of both the intake and exhuast manifolds to the engine are supposed to be on the same flat plain.
