I have a 62 TWPW with a 73 GMC Dana 44 that I bought this way. My mechanic says it is a far better front end due to the open knuckle configuration and modifiable front end parts. The Dodge version is a one piece unit. The shock perches line up fine without any modification that I can tell and the only problem is the shock mounts come off the rear of the axle. I am having new shocks placed this week until I can get a cross over steering on which will bring the drag link forward of the axle and away from the rear shocks.
