If I move the header back, I'll have something to scratch my head on.

How about this: hack up a couple vaccuum motors for shafts and mountings, then tack on the levers from a modern vehicle, bent the crossover link and trim it to fit between the shafts, and use a morse cable to a motor mounted either under dash,(drivers side, no glub box, or passs side, remove glub box for access) or a long cable and mount the motor in a rear corner behind seat. Or 2 Morse cables, instead of the the crossover link.

Mount pull switch to inside of cover plate, stock position. Or flip plate for more room for mechanisms?

Junkyard source for lighter Morse type cable? Dune buggy throttle stuff? (new, $$$ dammitt)

I think I can do all this to a completed cab, I can ignore this project and get on with the overall resto, except for headliner...

And, while I'm at it, I'll use the window tracks from my junk door to put an electric rear window in. One aftermarket motor from Whitneys ought to PIMP MY PW !

I better go get that door out of the dumpster- I'l need the inner panel to mount the regulator to.
