It's been a long 2 weeks, My son, in his lust and desire to download games to his PSB (or whatever it's called), 1st wiped out out upstairs computer, then, finished us off when he tried again (on the sly), and killed our network and hard drives. So, I have been reloading and reloading, and will probably spend the next few weeks doing that.
Anywho, I finally located the #'s on the Beast. For those that don't know, my engine, trans & transfer are unknown to me. I need to know what I have so I can fix things. I also finally found the frame #'s which were almost by the front bumper. Those are 81628995.
The engine is a 318, which MoPar Norm says is a Poly. I counldn't get the #'s off the front by the heads because of things in the way, but what I did get was a possible build date off the pass side by the exhaust manifold. 3-26-64. There is also a DN a bit above that with a circle& triangle combo (like an arrow almost) pointing to the N & a U in the circle.
The trans has a tag that says New Process, model #540, ratio: 741, Ass # 3527785DIL36, & a serial #2375. There are also the #'s 092581 & 7-23-74 stamped into the case. On the T-Case the # C-92501Q (or the 9 could be a small 0) & 3-2-51 are stamped into it's case. Can anyone tell me what I have (besides a mess)?
