I'd thought maybe the latest ones were on both sides. The drivers door I got on my 53 has the hole in it for the lock cylinder set screw access... Looks like I can saw the 'lock mechanism tab' off the rightlatch assy, weld it to the left side assy, and use some of the left side parts to re- assemble... I'll have a unique custom feature?
Then I'll move on to the wipers- perhaps move the access holes 'til I can fit a rear window wiper from a Ford SUV in, then a spacer under the cover plate...2 different 2-3 speed motors so they always be out of synch, just like O.E... OOO OOO OOO MR KOTTER! better idea, I'll saw the whole face off, extend it back so there is plenty of space for the bigger motors. Would youse guys notice an extra inch of header?
