Every year there is a "Lost in the 50's" parade and car show which always includes some very fine looking vintage vehicles from as far back as the 20's up to 60's and 70's. I decided to take a little tour today with my yellow lab and drive through the center of town where this all goes on. Almost more years than not, of course it rains. This weekend was monumental for pouring rain. In spite of my lack of working windshield wipers, and other useful amenities such as brake lights, turn signals, and horn, I made it through the area, receiving many shouts of approval, thumbs up, and double takes. My lab slept through the whole trip, head on my lap. My truck looks the same as it did when I rescued it from a ranch in the middle of Montana about 5 years ago. This would have been a good place for one of Steven Fowler's or Steve Wataha's trucks. It is nice to see so many people appreciate our old tanks. JH
