Here is an image of the brackets on my '47 WDX. The drivers side bracket with license plate bracket is original. I made the passenger side bracket from memory of an original one I had seen on a truck in the early 1980's. I have personally seen only maybe one other original passenger side bracket. All trucks had the driver side bracket. The passenger side bracket was optional. Very few remain as they were easily torn off of the trucks on anything tougher than a tall stiff blade of grass.
