Sorry about this pix but it shows the hopper that can be a pain in the arse at times. When you need the heat the most on those cold mornings the dang hooper pipe would pop off.
If I had to do it again(and just may) I'd go with hot air oil or gas.
When I would have to start it up I need to clean out the arger and if I had it running the day before the pellets(still HOT) would turn like rock and clough the arge and push off the hopper pipe. Making a big mess under hooper.
Plus last year with the shortage of pellets(corn is to high price here) we had to travel to the next state to get them.
