She started out just wiping grease off with paper towels... once she decided to go after the more difficult stuff with the screw driver I should have given her a set of safety glasses. There are a half dozen pair hanging over the work bench...
I wear glasses (to see) all the time, so I only think to add a safety pair over them when I'm cutting or grinding. Best practice would be to just have the kids put on a pair whenever they help in the garage.
