Senators are oblivious until an issue is on their 'radar'. Believe this, whit all the illegal alien new in the media and with 1/3 of the Senate up for re-election this Nov., NOW IS THE TIME to have the most impact. Letters written if 'off cycle' non-election years carry less weight. If you start your letter with "this is the ______th letter I have written to you about this subject and I have yet to hear from you" at least you have gone on record the the staffer reading the mail that you are getting frustrated with the Senators inaction. These guys depend upon votes to stay on the gravytrain, make it clear that they will lose your vote unless they act 'now' upon the illegal alien issue, not with guest workers, not with amnesty, but with enforcement, employer fines and deportation.
