Can we get a unified front? I have yet to hear from my congressman about getting a bill into congress about making English the official language of the US.
There's way to much finger pointing and the old blame game, which is what keeps us apart, which also prevents people from acting. This is counted on. Yes, this is a forum about PW's, but thank the big guy, Joe let's us ramble about other concerns.
This whole immigration thing is about people here illegally and what to do about them. Unfortunately, about 80% are Latino. I guess that's because it's easier for them to get here than others.
They are a burden on our middle class (which IMHO, won't be around much longer). The wealthy don't pay their fair share of taxes because they can afford loopholes, and the poor can't because they're poor. We need a plan that we all agree on.
I think we all agree that the borders need to be sealed, but it doesn't seem like the politicians want to do that. They've had 5 years now, and nothing's happened to that end (thru politics). If that ever happens, what do we do about those 11 or 12 million illegals?
Those of us that think something should be done need to organize too. Trouble is, most WON'T or can't spend the time needed to do so. People will either point to one group or another sayin "It's ALL Their Fault", or they just don't want to hear it. I fear it's to late.
