We went to visit my daughter at college today, I stopped at the fire department and shot a few pictures of their brush truck. It's a 1966, that is still being used today. Nice guys at the firehouse. They were in the process of repairing the lights.
The truck is in great shape, one of the fire fighters I spoke to said he was behind the wheel for seven hours last week battling brush fires on the South Shore. He mentioned that a lot of fire companies are getting duece and a halfs because they carry more water, but he likes the Power Wagon because it is more manuverable in the brush.
