I agree with that, Keith. I have seen the "No pickups" signs and think they used to have them on the real busy scales like the ones on I-5. Have not seen them for a while. Believe me, they are looking for commercial violations but you better make sure you don't do something too far out of line or they might come after you in your pickup. There was a commercial enforcement vehicle just setting up on the soutbound 46 on ramp yesterday. I thought the scale at the 44 would be closed because of that but it was not. I knew I was legal enough to get by in WA since I had a scale to weigh out on. Turns out my truck scale was probably more accurate since I was about 1,500 lbs lighter than I thought.
